Wellington Shared Working Space

The Ākina Foundation Wellington office is a colourful and relaxed shared working space located next to the Credenza co-working space on Taranaki St in central Wellington. We have a great opportunity to share our space with other creative and caring humans!


What space is available?

  • There is capacity for another 12 permanent desk occupants and 8 hot desks occupants approximately (given the nature of hot desks it’s likely this would fluctuate day to day!)

  • We currently have 12 of the Ākina whānau in permanent desks, although on any given day there are usually around 8 Ākina staff in the space due to meetings and travel.


  • Permanent Desks (24/7 access)
    $300 per month

  • Hot Desks (access during working hours)
    3 days per week: $200 per month
    5 days per week: $250 per month

Boardroom: 20 people 
Small meeting room: 8 people
Pods (2) : 2 people
Calling booths (4):1 person

There are also lots of break out spaces both in the Ākina and Credenza spaces that are for use, and coffee very nearby with People’s Coffee Luke’s Lane on the ground floor!

Other facilities 

Wifi, tea & coffee, printers and all the usual things are provided and there is also shower.
There are lockers and other storage available and the space will be secured so it is only accessible to Ākina and friends after hours. 

Basic Terms

Month by month contract.
1 month notice for termination. 
Monthly payment in advance required.
