Capability support for Auckland and Northland enterprises

Thanks to Foundation North, we’re working with social enterprises that create social inclusion – to help them solve the challenges they face.

Are you from a social enterprise or impact-led business in Auckland or Northland?

Are you focussed on increasing social inclusion?

We are looking for enterprises facing challenges or obstacles that need to be resolved so that they can grow as a sustainable business.

Is it hard to explain to others how you create positive impact? Do you want to create even more positive impact?

If so, we may be able to support you to take action, plan your next steps or connect with others who can support your enterprise journey.

What’s social inclusion?

Social inclusion might mean creating employment, supporting more inclusive and diverse communities, or some other way of creating positive change with people that face barriers or are commonly excluded. Some examples of social inclusion include:

  • Supporting disadvantaged groups to enter the workforce or have skills training

  • Creating accessible spaces online and in cities

  • Supporting communities like the rainbow community, people with disabilities, Māori and Pacific people, or people in poverty

Here are some examples of organisations who are creating a more inclusive Aotearoa:

Will & Able

Will and Able employs people with disabilities to create eco-friendly cleaning products, packaged in 100% recycled packaging.
